LUXEMBOURG, May 07, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Stoneshield Capital is the second-largest shareholder in Meli\u00e1 Hotels International (Meli\u00e1) with a 9.5% stake, and Juan Pepa, co-founder of Stoneshield, has been appointed to Meli\u00e1s Board of Directors.<\/p>\n

The appointment reflects Stoneshields intention to act as a long-term reference shareholder, supporting the companys next phase of value creation through disciplined capital allocation and strategic alignment with management.<\/p>\n
